No Weapon
“No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgement you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from Me, says the Lord.”
10 years ago, I preached a message called No Weapon. It’s become my life message, and over the years, it has become a message that I have taken to many places, spoken to many people about and declared it over my life through different seasons and experiences. For the year 2023, I believe it’s something we need to step into again – into what God has for us – and it will start with us letting go of the 2022 weapons that the enemy has sent us.
Weapons will be formed because we have an enemy who design weapons against us to come against our soul, our mind, our will, our emotions, our DNA, and our body. His strategy of these weapons is in John 10:10. It says that “the enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy”, steal your inheritance, kill your destiny, and destroy your faith. So, he forms these weapons to try and kill you to try and steal gifts from you, to try and destroy your fate. But while weapons can be formed, it will not prosper.
“In righteousness you shall be established; You shall be far from oppression, for you shall not fear; and from terror, for it shall not come near you.”
Here are some weapons that the enemy uses against us and what the Word of God says to help us overcome these weapons.
REJECTION
Jeremiah 31:3(MSG)
“God told them, ‘I've never quit loving you and never will. Expect love, love, and more love!’”
UNBELIEF
John 14:12 (NIV)
“Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.”
DEATH
John 10:10 (NIV)
“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.”
ANXIETY
Nehemiah 8:10 (NIV)
“... for the joy of the Lord is your strength.”
FEAR
Psalm 23:4 (NIV)
“Even though I walk through the darkest valley. I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.”
There is power in agreement. When you agree with the Word of God, you're declaring a shield of faith around you, around your family and around your destiny. When you have the power and the boldness to declare no weapon formed against you shall prosper, you know God is with you in the storm and you will feel peace.
