Chosen

Did you ever realise that God, the Creator of the galaxies, who gave each star a name, who breathed the words of creation to form the Earth, and who speaks to the wind and waves, chose YOU to be His friend?

Changing the narrative online: Kingdom culture, not worldly culture

We’ve been called to live a life set apart from the world, so why can’t we do this online too?

We Christians know the importance of changing toxic cultures that aren’t aligned to His word, but why do we ignore these toxic cultures that exist online as a fact of life?

I AM ENOUGH

Let’s look at it this way; if we were to create something, something we put our heart and soul into, we would be proud of what we made, because so much love and thought went into creating it. Because of this, it would hurt if someone were to talk badly about our creation. This is how it is with God. When we talk negatively about ourselves, it upsets God because He put so much love and thought into creating and designing you to be exactly the way you are.  We are enough, and that’s a fact.

8 STUDY TIPS THAT WILL SET YOU UP FOR A PRODUCTIVE DAY

Feeling distracted or unmotivated? As teenagers, a good portion of our day is used for studying. However, like many of my peers, I often feel unmotivated to get any work done at all. They say “time is our most valuable asset”. So, let’s honour God by being good stewards of our time.

YOU ARE MINE

If we have the foundation of where we belong placed in God our Father, then everything else will simply be added on. When we understand that we belong to God first, we will thereafter belong to the right things.

4 THINGS GOD TAUGHT ME AS A TEENAGER

1. Communication kills isolation.
2. The ‘Why’ behind the ‘What’ is not always what you perceive it to be.
3. Forgiveness is Key.
4. Make God the centre of your life.

IT’S OKAY TO BE YOU

Seek out from the Bible what God says about who you are! That is your starting place, your foundation on which everything else is built. Know the promises of God, know what He thinks and says about you. Start from there. Highlight them in your Bible, write them on your mirror, print out verses and stick them around your room, cover your school books in them, put reminders in your phone and even change your phone wallpaper.

SURRENDER

I know that many people have the same struggle as I did, feeling like everything has to be sorted, planned and figured out for the future and I really want to share with you what God has taught me in this area. I hope that you can experience the peace that fills your heart and mind when you know that God has it figured out.

FOCUS ON THE WAY MAKER NOT THE WAY

I fixed my eyes on Jesus and started getting to know Him! I stopped trying to make everything work for me, so I could find His purpose for me. I removed fear. I fixed my eyes on the way maker and not on the path. When I started looking to God, I started walking in the right direction.

THE SELFIE GENERATION

Please hear me out; my heart is not to judge you, but to just raise the question - what’s your motive when you post a picture of yourself? To show people how great you are? To give the Lord glory? To witness?
