Choc Chip Banana Bread - Gemma Johnson

A recipe so easy you can make it with your eyes shut!

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 mashed bananas

  • 2 Tablespoons of golden syrup

  • ¾ cup of caster sugar

  • 1 egg

  • 1 cup of self raising flour

  • 1 pinch of salt

  • 200g chocolate chips

METHOD

  1. Preheat fan forced oven to 180c

  2. Mash 2 bananas in a bowl

  3. Add the golden syrup and mix this into the bananas

  4. Add the sugar and egg

  5. Fold the self raising flour into the mixture

  6. Add a pinch of salt

  7. Add your chocolate chips!

  8. Bake in a lined or greased loaf tin for 25 - 30 minutes or until golden on top.

OR use my ‘eyes shut’ method where you chuck everything into a bowl and blend! 

If you don’t have chocolate you can substitute for raspberries or something else!
