Choc Chip Banana Bread - Gemma Johnson
A recipe so easy you can make it with your eyes shut!
INGREDIENTS
2 mashed bananas
2 Tablespoons of golden syrup
¾ cup of caster sugar
1 egg
1 cup of self raising flour
1 pinch of salt
200g chocolate chips
METHOD
Preheat fan forced oven to 180c
Mash 2 bananas in a bowl
Add the golden syrup and mix this into the bananas
Add the sugar and egg
Fold the self raising flour into the mixture
Add a pinch of salt
Add your chocolate chips!
Bake in a lined or greased loaf tin for 25 - 30 minutes or until golden on top.
OR use my ‘eyes shut’ method where you chuck everything into a bowl and blend!
If you don’t have chocolate you can substitute for raspberries or something else!
